Cara Mengenal Bulu Khinzir Yang Di Jadikan Berus

Kebanyakkan berus yang murah dari China diperbuat dari bulu khinzir…hal ini kerana terdapat ciri-ciri khas pada bulu tersebut menyebabkan ia begitu popular dijadikan berus untuk mengecat, mewarna dan membersihkan rumah.

Ciri-ciri bulu khinzir:

1-Bulu yang rimbun dihujungnya (lebih tepat hujung bercabang)
2-Boleh diubahsuai dengan bahan kimia untuk menjadi lembut atau keras.
3-Susah tertanggal dan jatuh atau cepat rosak.
4-Senang didapati berbanding bulu haiwan lain.

Bulu khinzir atau khinzir hutan dipanggil “Bristle” kerana bentuk mereka yang keras dan kasar. Hujung bulu khinzir ini mempuyai sifat yang unik iaitu hujungnya akan bercabang (split ends). Bristle daripada wilayah Chungking China adalah yang terbaik untuk digunakan untuk mengecat.

Manakala berus bulu kambing atau biri-biri banyak digunakan untuk kaligrafi. Hujungnya tidak bercabang seperti bulu khinzir. Bulu kambing atau biri-biri ini mempunyai hujung yang tajam.

Maha suci Allah menjadikan bulu khinzir berbeza dengan haiwan yang lain.Mungkin ada hikmah disebaliknya - agar umat Islam dapat membezakannya. Namun masih ramai yang tidak mengetahuinya. Jadi,berhati-hatilah..Insyallah dengan izinnya,semoga kita semua sentiasa dilindungi..

I want to make a difference....

Dear friends and families

I attended a city survival training organised by my Bank. The speaker was Kapten Bala who is very well known; “Di mana ada bala, di situ ada Bala”. He is superbly funny, pleasant, knowledgeable, experienced, and most importantly, a hero. K. Bala said everyone who attended the training that day were “the chosen ones”. I hope I am the chosen one to make a difference.

I WANT to make a difference. So I wanna share with you what I learned from the training. Kindly note that the training was for ladies but the information is useful to all:

- identify your Green, Yellow and Red Zone wherever you are. Green being the safest and Red where there is the highest risk

- rapists (I will generalize all perpetrators for this purpose as rapists) will attack if there is time and opportunity. Cut time, cut opportunity and there will be no crime

- rapists generally don’t bring items to kill women/girls, they normally use what the women is wearing/carrying; eg. bra, panties, plastic bag… but I am not saying don’t wear bra and panties please

- if ever you were in a bad situation involving rapists (nauzubillah), know some of these tricks:

o “play the game” as they say it. For sure you cant beat them/him, so play the game. When the time is right, attack eg. bite, kick etc

o squinch your eyes when they want to blindfold you, as hard as you can. This will actually leave a gap at the bottom (of the blindfold) for you to see

o cross your hands when they want to tie your hands. This way you can move your hands when you need to just to keep the blood flowing. If blood doesn’t flow to your hands, it will become numb and in a few hours time, your hands are ‘dead’, and may be amputated

o one woman actually escaped from being hurt cos she played dead

o pretending you are epileptic and have a fit (sawan babi), will save you (insya allah)

o sometimes communication does work

o when the guy is strangling you, harden your neck by clenching your teeth together

o if they stuff rice, tissue for eg. inside your mouth, try not to swallow it. You will get die from choking, and if killing you is not their intention, the perpetrators might not be charged

o the weakest part of the hand is the finger, if the guy grabs you or strangles you, try to flick his fingers firmly. Automatically the hands will let go

- teach your kids esp your daughters about life, boyfriends, making friends etc… you never know

- if a male colleague, friend, or boyfriend sends you/your daughter back home, ask him to wait for your sms that you are safely inside the house. Its for your benefit as well as his (trust this)

- general rule of thumbs: know when, what and where to speak

- get to know your neighbours, cos they are the ones who can come to you in 5 minutes if something bad happens to you at home. Make a pact with your neighbours in terms of what signal to use if any of you are in trouble

- for those ladies who are staying alone, period, or husbands away for a while, don’t make it obvious

o hang some men’s clothes together with yours

o avoid routines (same time shut off lights, same time comes home from work, for example)

o if someone calls your landline, make sure make it noisy and lively in the background as though you are not alone

- if you get the same bundle of catalogues for some period of time or if your mails are missing for sometime, it could possibly mean your house is being watched

- if you have to walk alone to your car, try not to walk directly to the car; make a zig zag, L shape

- if ever your child is kidnapped (nauzubillah), try to find him/her immediately in the next few hours after your find out. Don’t delay. Report later

- apply damage control wherever necessary!

I guess that’s all for now. Ladies especially and Gents, please please be extra wary.

At the end of the day, it’s Allah’s or your God’s (for non Muslims) will. Our job is to pray to Him for protection, mercy and guidance and so on. At the end of the day, we leave it to Him.

Jom Makan Pisang...

Jangan sekali-kali menyimpan pisang dalam peti sejuk. Lepas baca anda semua pasti akan pandang tinggi pada buah pisang.

Pisang mengandungi 3 jenis gula semulajadi – sukrosa, fruktosa dan glukosa yang digabungkan dengan gentian. Pisang memberikan tenaga kepada manusia dengan kadar segera dan berterusan. Kajian yang telah dibuat menunjukkan bahawa 2 biji pisang mempunyai cukup tenaga untuk senaman selama 90 minit. Tidak hairanlah pisang dijadikan buah utama kepada atlit terkenal dunia. Bukan itu saja, malah pisang juga amat sesuai untuk mencegah dan merawat beberapa jenis penyakit, menjadikannya amat sesuai dalam pemakanan kita seharian.

Tekanan:
Merujuk kepada survey terbaru yang dijalankan oleh MIND terhadap pesakit-pesakit tekanan jiwa, kebanyakan daripada mereka kembali pulih selepas makan pisang. Ini kerana pisang mengandungi tryptophan, iaitu sejenis protin yang bertukar kepada serotonin dalam tubuh manusia, yang menyebabkan kita tenang, mengembalikan mud dan secara amnya membuatkan kita berasa gembira.

PMS:
Lupakan pil-pil hospital – makan sahaja pisang. Vitamin B6 yang terkandung mampu meneutralkan paras glukosa dalam darah, yang boleh mengembalikan mud anda.

Anemia:
Dengan kandungan zat besi yang tinggi, pisang mampu mengawal pertumbuhan hemoglobin dalam darah, yang secara tak langsung membantu dalam kes-kes anemia.

Tekanan Darah Tinggi:
Buah tropikal unik ini mengandungi kadar potassium yang tinggi – garam rendah, menjadikannya sempurna untuk menstabilkan tekanan darah.

Kuasa Minda:
Kajian dibuat terhadap 200 pelajar di sebuah sekolah di mana semasa peperiksaan dijalankan, mereka diberi makan pisang untuk sarapan, rehat, dan makan tengahari. Panas Jantung:

Pisang amat baik dalam pencegahan ulser kerana ia bersifat lembut dan tidak mencederakan organ dalaman kita. Ia juga bertindak sebagai peneutral lebihan asid serta mengurangkan kepedihan dengan bertindak menyaluti lapisan dinding perut kita.

Kawalan Suhu:
Ramai yang percaya bahawa dengan memakan pisang, ia dapat menurunkan suhu kedua-dua fizikal dan emosi kepada ibu-ibu mengandung. Di Thailand sebagai contoh, ibu mengandung mengambil pisang untuk memastikan bayi yang dilahirkan itu menjadi seorang yang penyabar (cool).

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD):
Penyakit ini merupakan simptom yang terjadi akibat daripada kurangnya pendedahan kepada cahaya matahari. Pisang dapat membantu pesakit ini kerana ia mengandungi tryptophan semulajadi yang membaikpulih mud kita.

Ketagihan Rokok & Tembakau:
Pisang dapat membantu perokok yang ingin berhenti merokok. Vitamin B6, B12, potassium dan magnesium yang terdapat dalam pisang, ia dapat membantu tubuh kita dalam membaikpulih kesan nikotin terhadap tubuh.

Stres:
Potassium merupakan bahan mineral vital, yang membantu menormalkan degupan jantung, menghantar oksigen kepada otak dan mengimbangi kandungan air dalam tubuh. Pengamal perubatan semulajadi (alternatif) berpendapat, untuk menghilangkan pelbagai masalah kulit, termasuk jerawat, kudis, parut, kurap, dan sebagainya, ambil sekeping kulit pisang, tampalkan sebelah dalam kulit pisang itu pada tempat yang ingin dirawat dengan menggunakan plaster luka biasa atau pun plaster bedah.
Jadi, pisang memang merupakan ubat semulajadi kepada banyak penyakit. Jika dibandingkan dengan epal, pisang mempunyai 4 kali ganda kandungan protin, 2 kali karbohidrat, 3 kali fosforus, 5 kali vitamin A dan zat besi, dan 2 kali vitamin dan mineral lain. Ia juga kaya dengan potassium dan merupakan salah satu makanan terbaik yang mudah didapati.

Jadi mungkin inilah masa untuk berubah kepada kata yang biasa disebut-sebut, “Sebiji pisang sehari dapat menjauhkan doktor!”

PS: Ingin kilatkan kasut?? Ambil bahagian dalam kulit pisang, sapukan secara terus kepada kasut anda, kemudian kilatkan dengan kain kering. Menakjubkan!

Preceeding days before CNY

Preparations for CNY started well before the New Year's Day. It is believed that cleaning the entire home sweeps away bad luch of the preceding year in hope to receive good luch for the New Year.

Eve of CNY

A day where Chinese families gather for their annual reunion dinner. It's a tradition that has been practiced for many generations and a great way to reconcile with all families, forgetting all grudges and sincerely wish for peace and happiness for everyone.

1st day of CNY

This is a time when families visit the oldest and most senior members of their extended family, usually their parents and grandparents.

Ang Pows or red packets are filled with m oney will be given to the younger family (ni fav en. tan teruna & dara...hehehe)

2nd day of CNY

It is the day where married daughters, her husband and children visit her birth parents. Gifts or hampers of mandarin oranges and snacks with auspicious meanings will be presented to the in-laws.

3rd day of CNY

It is considered inappropriate to visit friends and relatives on this day because it is extremely easy to get into arguments.

5th day of CNY

The birthday of the God of Wealth. Businessman will pray for him in hopes of good financial year.

6th day of CNY

Traditionally many businesses will resume on this day.

7th day of CNY

It is the common man's birthday. It is believed that everyone will be a year older on this day. It is also they day when we toss raw fish salah, widely known as "loh sang" or "yee sang" (ni mrs tan nyer fav...)

9th day of CNY

The 9th day is traditionally the birthday of the Jade Emperor. Come midnight of the 8th day of the New Year, the Hokkien Chinese community will offer thanks giving prayers to the Emperor of Heaven.

15th day of CNY

In Malaysia and Singapore, "Chap Goh Mei" is celebrated by individuals seeking for a love partner, a different version of Valentine's Day. Single women would write their contact number on mandarin oranges and throw it in the river or lake in hope that their future spouse will pick it up.

Plus yellow form for hospital inspection...
The best part police kata boleh pegi mana2 klinik kesihatan...
Or hospital kerajaan...
Tapi polis SALAH...
Tak boleh pegi klinik kesihatan...
Kena pegi HOSPITAL...

Sampai hospital kene register kat Emergency's entrance...
Pastu masuk dalam tuggu ur name to be called...
Bila dah dipanggil masuk tuk jumpa medical officer kot...
Check blood pressure etc pastu dia filled-up a form...
Then tuggu lagi nama u kena panggil kat registration kaunter...
Sora org panggil tu cam DJ...hehehe
Once being called u akan dapat ur no...
Wait for your turn again...
Lepas ni baru boleh jumpa doctor...
Doc will interview you...
Check serba sikit...
Buat ultra-sound & X-ray...
Pastu tuggu lagi tuk jumpa doc...
Doc akan explain yg u kena dtg lagi tuk amik report kat Wisma Kayu...
At least lagi dua trip...
One for u fill-up request form...

Ada pepatah English yang mengatakan "An apple a day keeps the doctor away"...
So listed below are ten reasons to heed the advice of that old proverb...

1. Bone Protection
French researchers found that a flavanoid called phloridzin that is found only in apples may protect post-menopausal women from osteoporosis and may also increase bone density. Boron, another ingredient in apples, also strengthens bones.

2. Asthma Help
One recent study shows that children with asthma who drank apple juice on a daily basis suffered from less wheezing than children who drank apple juice only once per month. Another study showed that children born to women who eat a lot of apples during pregnancy have lower rates of asthma than children whose mothers ate few apples.

3. Alzheimer's Prevention
A study on mice at Cornell University found that the quercetin in apples may protect brain cells from the kind of free radical damage that may lead to Alzheimer's disease.

4. Lower Cholesterol
The pectin in apples lowers LDL ("bad") cholesterol. People who eat two apples per day may lower their cholesterol by as much as 16 percent.

5. Lung Cancer Prevention
According to a study of 10,000 people, those who ate the most apples had a 50 percent lower risk of developing lung cancer. Researchers believe this is due to the high levels of the flavonoids quercetin and naringin in apples.

6. Breast Cancer Prevention
A Cornell University study found that rats who ate one apple per day reduced their risk of breast cancer by 17 percent. Rats fed three apples per day reduced their risk by 39 percent and those fed six apples per day reduced their risk by 44 percent.

7. Colon Cancer Prevention
One study found that rats fed an extract from apple skins had a 43 percent lower risk of colon cancer. Other research shows that the pectin in apples reduces the risk of colon cancer and helps maintain a healthy digestive tract.

8. Liver Cancer Prevention
Research found that rats fed an extract from apple skins had a 57 percent lower risk of liver cancer.

9. Diabetes Management
The pectin in apples supplies galacturonic acid to the body which lowers the body's need for insulin and may help in the management of diabetes.

10. Weight Loss
A Brazilian study found that women who ate three apples or pears per day lost more weight while dieting than women who did not eat fruit while dieting.

10. Bantu kesihatan dan kewangian mulut/gusi. Apabila sakit gigi, sental lemon secara sungguh-sungguh terhadap gigi tersebut untuk mengurangkan kesakitannya. Sila potong lemon itu dulu, jangan kau sental sekali bulat tuh kat gigi memang menjahanamkan lebih lanjut. Kalau gusi berdarah juga, urutlah lemon di tempat gusi itu berdarah, selain bantu menghentikan pendarahan, ia mewangikan gusi busuk ituww.

Kalau dah selesai perah lemon untuk buat lemonade, jangan buang lagi sebab kulit (sebelah dalam) lemon boleh buat scrub muka (buang sel kulit mati) dan juga scrub siku lutut leher.
